My name is Kevin Garlick and for several years I have been making shoes for re-enactors, films, theatres and museums. I have been in the re-enacting scene for many years, started in 1976, so I know what a shoe or boot has to go through. I make them for people with different budgets and authenticity needs. Have a look at some of the footwear we make. I can't show every thing we have made, so if you need something different please send a photo or drawing and we will let you know if it can be done.
Finishing a shoe for Mark Rylance ( Globe Theatre, London). ( The whiteness on the hands is "french" chalk, keeps the white leather blemish free while holding it to work on the sole edges) |
